What are your daily tasks in your current position?

My daily tasks include monitoring our numerous seismic networks and verifying the seismic events they detect. Furthermore, I manage projects: from preparing quotes and conducting evaluations—including writing my own programs—to writing final reports, everything is part of the job. Occasionally, I also head into the field to install new measuring stations or maintain existing ones. Additionally, I attend conferences and workshops to further my education and give presentations myself.

Among the most important achievements from my studies, I would count analytical, solution-oriented thinking and the ability to evaluate and analyze large amounts of data. Both are very important in my profession and present me with new challenges almost daily. Furthermore, a deep understanding of seismology as well as programming skills are also advantageous.
