Research

I am a research assistant at the KIT and work in the Geophysics group at GPI. I obtained my Ph.D. degree (summa cum laude) in Geophysics from Free University of Berlin, Germany, in 2022. I joined  KIT in Jan. 2022. My research involves full seismic waveform inversion with the spectral element method for two and three-dimensional models to understand the geodynamic process of subduction zones, such as Central Andes and Central Asia areas. I mainly use passive earthquake and ambient noise cross-correlation waveforms for the crustal-upper-mantle scale imaging.
