Prof. Dr. Karl Fuchs war von 1971 bis 1997 Leiter des Geophysikalischen Instituts der Universität Karlsruhe (TH). Seit 1997 ist er emeritierter Professor. Prof. Dr. Karl Fuchs forscht in den Bereichen Seismologie, Angewandte Geophysik und Naturgefahren und Risiken.
